Program Overview & Description
Temporary reception, shelter, rehabilitation, and safety for vulnerable, abandoned, and orphaned children.
Child Reception & Protection — What We Do
We receive children referred by Police, local authorities, hospitals, and community members. Every child is assessed within 24 hours of arrival by qualified social workers.
Children are provided immediate safe shelter, food, clothing, and a secure environment away from harm, abuse, or neglect.
Comprehensive medical check-ups, nutritional support, and psycho-social first aid are provided immediately upon reception.
Our social work team actively traces family members and works toward safe reunification or alternative placement in line with Uganda's Children Act.
